Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant. He's supported Lee Hurst and Rhod Gilbert on their national tours and regularly works as a TV Warm-Up Act for shows such as 'Deal or No Deal' and 'Have I Got New for You'. Childlike, witty and incredibly perceptive, if the 'mates chatting down the pub' style of conversational comedy is your cup of tea, then rest assured, Andrew Bird is the master of it.
Rory O'Hanlon is a Dublin based stand up whose observational style of comedy has made him an instant hit with crowds up and down the country. Rory plays and compere's every venue in Ireland while also becoming a firm favourite across the water in the legendary Stand venues in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. In recent years he's been building a great reputation as one of the hardest working comedians on the circuit. The future looks very bright for this likeable dubliner.
A comedian known from coast to coast in Canada Dylan Gott has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, has performed at prestigious comedy festivals such as Just For Laughs Toronto, North By Northeast and appeared on Bite TV with his own televised special on iChannel called 'No Kidding'. To go with his many stand up comedy accolades Dylan has had his own critically acclaimed one man show at the Toronto Fringe Festival 'Dylan Gott Medicine Woman' and hosted his own radio show on Sirius XM Radio 'The Sport Brahs'
Christian first moved into the world of comedy as Otis Lee Crenshaw's (Rich Hall) guitar-wielding sidekick - a job which took him from Nottingham to Nashville, Tennessee. Now an international comedian playing all the major comedy venues, Christian blends stand-up with dynamic guitar/vocal abilities to relate his unique experience with a sharp wit, youthful energy and effortless charm - with the occasional snipe at histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians.
Compere: Jonny Freeman
Jonny has been compering at The Funny Side since November 2009. He is an experienced actor, improviser and comedian appearing on both stage and screen. Team leader Frank London in hit BBC kids' show "MI High", he also appears as a panellist on Channel 5's "The Wright Stuff"!
