Acts at The Funny Side

Christian Reilly
Christian first moved into the world of comedy as Otis Lee Crenshaw's (Rich Hall) guitar-wielding sidekick - a job which took him from Nottingham to Nashville,
Tennessee. Now an international comedian playing all the major comedy venues, Christian blends stand-up with dynamic guitar/vocal abilities to relate his unique
experience with a sharp wit, youthful energy and effortless charm - with the occasional snipe at histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians.
He has written for and performed on three series of 'That Was Then This Is Now' (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma
Kennedy.
In 2007, Christian hosted the Nottingham Live Music Weekend (sharing the bill with The Magic Numbers, Just Jack and Cherry Ghost), performed at the Melbourne
International Comedy Festival, the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, the Liverpool Comedy Festival, the Latitude Festival and debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a
successful run of his first solo show, 'How To Rock'. More recently, Christian appeared on The Graham Norton Show (BBC2), backing if.comeddie award-winner Phil Nichol.
