Francis Foster is a comedian who talks about failure, his own mostly - he is a man struggling to cope with life and the existence he finds himself in. Being half English and half Latino, whilst hailing from South London, means that Francis spends his time perpetually confused. Somehow, in between all the mess and the flailing about, he finds time to gig at the best comedy clubs in the country and came third place in the prestigious New Act Of The Year Award 2015.
Konstantin Kisin is a Russian-British comedian, podcaster, writer and social commentator. He made international headlines in 2018 by refusing to sign a university "behavioural agreement form" which banned jokes about religion, atheism and insisted that all humour must be "respectful and kind". Konstantin was the 2018 Jewish Comedian of the Year and has won a number of other comedy competitions, awards and prizes.
Gabby Best won the Funny Women award as a character comedian, and this year she told of her insomnia and approach to life in a fantastic debut hour at the Edinburgh Fringe. As seen on BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, Sky Arts and Radio 4.
Having performed stand-up since the age of 15, Andrew White has garnered a lot of attention for his witty writing and charming onstage persona. With material on everything from life as a young gay man to crisps and mental health, the last four years have seen him quickly progress up the club and fringe festival circuits.
Compere: Gareth Kane
Gareth has been the resident compere for most of The Funny Side's gigs since 2011 and is one of the most experienced hosts on the comedy circuit. He is also an accomplished actor and writer/performer with sketch group Harvey Garvey & the Kane who recently garnered 5 star reviews at the Edinburgh festival. Also a physical trainer and boxer, at 6'4" Gareth Kane is a man big on physique and big on talent.
