The only man alive who can link any film to a specific episode of Bergerac in 6 moves or less. Think of a self-deprecating fumbling English gentleman and no doubt your mind jumps to Hugh Grant, but transfer that persona into a live comedy environment and you have Will Smith. With comedy brimming from every fold of his tweed jacket, he really does play the upper-class comedy gent role to perfection. On stage the jokes come thick and fast, with large swathes of them being targeted at his own inadequacies and social misconceptions. But behind the gentrified facade is one of the comedy world's greatest rising stars, and most prolific writers. Will is one of the most in-demand stand-up comedians and comedy writers in the UK today. With sell-out solo shows every year at the Edinburgh festival since 2003, Will has also performed regularly in the West End including The Royal Variety performance in 2004. He is a regular contributor and guest on a number of radio and TV shows and recently presented 'A Wife for William' on Channel 4.
