Luke was raised in a village in Hertfordshire. He went to school a lot then became a Geography teacher. The moment he realised kids don't applaud at the end of lessons, he enrolled at drama school.
In 2005, with drama school friend Stephen Harvey, Luke took a show to the Edinburgh Fringe, which was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award.
In 2007, going solo, he won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award. Since then Luke's performed tirelessly and has written for stand-ups on 'Mock The Week' and 'Live at the Apollo'.

That was the fourth time I've been to a Funny Side show and they've always been brilliant. I love the relaxed friendly atmosphere. I don't come to London very often but whenever I do, a visit to The Funny Side is always top of my agenda.
Just to say thank you so much - everyone had a brilliant time! Merry Christmas!
A great fun night out, thoroughly recommended.
Very good value for money. Brilliant acts and a small, intimate venue.
