Ava Vidal is a cool and composed performer with an intriguing past. She was a teenage mum, she earned a living as a prison officer before turning to stand-up, a move inspired by watching Chris Rock. Ava became a mother at 18, and spent five years as a prison guard at Pentonville. A chance viewing of a Chris Rock routine inspired her to pursue a career in comedy, and she quickly became a fixture of the stand-up circuit.

We had the best time. We are definitely hooked so will be coming again in the New Year. It was a lovely setting with such nice staff.
That was the fourth time I've been to a Funny Side show and they've always been brilliant. I love the relaxed friendly atmosphere. I don't come to London very often but whenever I do, a visit to The Funny Side is always top of my agenda.
A wonderful night was had by all, very entertaining.
Great - really attentive and friendly service. Thanks so much!
