A former magician, Marx now concentrates on tricks of the verbal kind, using the conjurer's trick of misdirection to ensure the quirky punch-lines come unexpectedly out of leftfield - he crafts a sharp and original set full of surprises. Definitely a name to watch.
A Scottish actress and comedian, Wendy launched her comedy career in 2004, getting to the final of Funny Women and semi-finals of 'So You Think You're Funny' at the Edinburgh Fringe the following year. Since then her comedy career has taken off. 2008 saw Wendy in America on NBC's 'Last Comic Standing' and was also the year she did her first one-woman show at The Edinburgh Festival 'Things I Didn't Know' where her charisma and wit ensured packed houses.
Gabriel Ebulue is often described as a young comic with an old soul. Hailing from South East London he has been regaling audiences with tales of his life in his trademark laidback style on the London comedy circuit since 2009. His set includes various pop-culture references, and covers topics ranging from his history with drugs, to his obsession with music, to race relations and everything in-between. Gabriel is also a writer of short-fiction and comedy sketches.
American comedienne Robyn Perkins has been bringing her 'engaging persona' (Steve Bennett, Chortle) to comedy clubs around the UK and US since 2011. Her background in biology influences her 'unfiltered' comedy, combining science and real life stories.
