Charlie Pickering
Edgy, polished and inventive, Charlie Pickering is possibly the most exciting new name in Australian comedy.
Charlie began to perform solo stand up in the pubs and clubs of Melbourne in 2000.
He started the cult comedy room Stagetime with fellow comic Michael Chamberlin, each taking turns as host.
Stagetime made a storming return to the Melbourne comedy landscape at Bar Open in August 2004.
Charlie also spent two years co-hosting Triple J's Drive Show and was a regular on ABC-TV's stand-up comedy show Stand Up!
You may also have spotted him in 2004 most Friday morning's with Michael Chamberlin dissecting the news of the week on Nine's Today program
and most recently performing stand up on Rove [Live] or hosting shows for the Comedy Channel.
